2026 Kendall Hero Games: Celebrating Service, Strength, and Community

June 26th, 2026 by

The 2026 Kendall Hero Games brought together an incredible group of competitors, spectators, and volunteers for a day filled with teamwork, determination, and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s event a tremendous success.

Designed to honor our military members and first responders, the Hero Games challenged teams to put their strength, endurance, and teamwork to the test. Beyond the competition, the event provided an opportunity to recognize and celebrate those who serve our communities and our country.

This year’s teams—500’s, Voluntold, Reapers, and Mama’s Boys—delivered outstanding performances and fierce competition throughout the day. Their dedication and enthusiasm made the event both exciting and inspiring for all in attendance.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and allowed us the opportunity to express our appreciation for your service and sacrifice. Your commitment continues to inspire us.

A special thank you goes to Northside AthleticsUSO Alaska at Fort Wainwright, and our many volunteers whose hard work and support helped bring this event to life. Events like the Hero Games would not be possible without your partnership and dedication.

The competition also served a greater purpose, with winning teams earning donations for military and first responder nonprofit organizations of their choice. We are proud to announce this year’s nonprofit recipients:

  • 1st Place: VFW — $1,500 Donation
  • 2nd Place: USO Alaska -$1000 Donation
  • 3rd Place: USO Alaska – $500 Donation

Congratulations to all our competitors and nonprofit partners. Thank you for helping make the 2026 Kendall Hero Games a meaningful celebration of service, resilience, and community.
